"If the prime minister wants an [Israeli] military administration [in Gaza], let him say so," Zamir told lawmakers at the Knesset Intelligence and Secret Services Subcommittee, which falls under the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Zamir also reportedly criticized the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's aid distribution facilities in the Gaza Strip, calling them a failure. "I don't understand why they are spending money on it and increasing the number of aid centers to 12, if it failed when there were four," he said. 1 2
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admits that Israel is facing increasing economic isolation as the war in Gaza drags on and will have to become more self-reliant. “Israel is in a sort of isolation,” he says at a conference of the Finance Ministry’s accountant general in Jerusalem, and may have to move toward a self-sufficient economy. “We will increasingly need to adapt to an economy with autarkic characteristics [without foreign trade],” he says. “The word I most hate. I am a supporter of the free market, but we may find ourselves in a situation where our arms industries are blocked. We will need to develop arms industries here — not only research and development, but also the ability to produce what we need.” Netanyahu says that he believes Israel can exit this isolation, but blames mass migration to Europe of Muslim immigrants for “bending the governments” in an anti-Israel direction and leading them to cancel defense deals with the Jewish state. Opposition Leader Yair Lapid slams Netanyahu after his comments. “Netanyahu’s statement that Israel is entering isolation and needs to adapt to an isolation economy is a crazy statement. Isolation is not a decree of fate, it is the product of a wrong and failed policy of Netanyahu and his government,” says Lapid. “They are turning Israel into a third-world country and are not even trying to change the situation.” https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/netanyahu-admits-israel-is-economically-isolated-will-need-to-become-self-reliant/ 4

Government to High Court on refusing to establish 7/10 inquiry commission: 'No change in our position' https://www.ynetnews.com/article/nm8ga20cr The government submitted its response to the High Court regarding the petition to establish a commission of inquiry into the October 7 failure, stating that "no change" has occurred in its position on the matter. Attorney Michael Ravelo, representing the government in the petition, stated that "the petitioners ignore the fact that we are in a war that has continued for almost two years, and according to the Israeli government, there is no place for a different decision at this stage." Amid criticism over the government's refusal to establish a state commission of inquiry into the massacre, coalition members attempted to promote a political inquiry committee while prohibiting investigation of the failure by any other means. The petitioners, the Zulat Institute, attacked this as a "disconnected and delusional response, just before marking two years since the greatest failure since the founding of the state." 2 3

Israeli officials: Trump knew about the strike before the missiles were launched… if he had wanted to stop it, he could have. In practice, he didn’t.
