Måtte bare poste dette her, tror jeg har snublet over en JihadNvidiot...

Til opplysning så er dette fra AIM og ja jeg bruker Sweeper navnet naturligvis.

[10:22] nomakewan: I've owned an nForce2, and my current is an nForce4.

[10:22] nomakewan: I'll probably use an nForce 680i next.

[10:22] Sweeperthemerc: 4 capacitors is bust.

[10:23] nomakewan: Hahaha, keep talkin'.

[10:23] Sweeperthemerc: 680 for AMD or Intel?

[10:23] nomakewan: Intel, dur.

[10:23] nomakewan: AMD can suck my nuts.

[10:23] nomakewan: All my computers have been AMD.

[10:23] nomakewan: I love AMD.

[10:23] Sweeperthemerc: My condolances, save yourself the trouble and get a P35 or X48 ;)

[10:23] nomakewan: But AMD sucks right now.

[10:23] nomakewan: So Intel will be my next computer.

[10:23] Sweeperthemerc: Else be prepared for headaches.

[10:23] Sweeperthemerc: And lots of them.

[10:23] nomakewan: Hahaha, people said that about the ECS board I'm using.

[10:23] nomakewan: :)

[10:24] Sweeperthemerc: I have heard of people in frustration pouring petrol onto the nForce boards and setting fire to them.

[10:24] nomakewan: Good for those idiots.

[10:24] Sweeperthemerc: A P35 or X38/48 is a sure fire bet for stability though.

[10:24] nomakewan: Thankfully, I'm not stupid.

[10:24] nomakewan: I read ahead.

[10:24] Sweeperthemerc: And no weird oddities.

[10:24] Sweeperthemerc: http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=200...SLanguage=en-us

[10:25] Sweeperthemerc: I recommend reading that first though... Proper 680i setup procedures ;)

[10:25] nomakewan: ...except it's from Asus, and I'd be buying an eVGA, and I already read all the information on eVGA 680i boards.

[10:25] nomakewan: So thanks, but...no thanks.

[10:25] Sweeperthemerc: It is a gamble, and if you MUST have an nForce, EVGA or XFX is the only way to go.

[10:26] Sweeperthemerc: Same memory issues exists on the EVGA, I thought you knew that much if you have been reading around?

[10:26] Sweeperthemerc: Another aspect is that it is a gamble, either you get a system that works, OR you end up in hell.

[10:26] nomakewan: "Memory issue?" Which would that be?

[10:26] Sweeperthemerc: And thats when you Americans are screwed, in Norway we can return the motherboard and get everything refunded.

[10:26] Sweeperthemerc: And are covered by a 3 year warranty by law.

[10:27] nomakewan: Um, hello?

[10:27] nomakewan: Question?

[10:27] Sweeperthemerc: Memory issues? It can fry your chips as it doesn't give the voltage that is indicated in the BIOS.

[10:27] Sweeperthemerc: When it says 1.9V in the BIOS for an instance.

[10:27] Sweeperthemerc: It will really be feeding 2.2V or 2.3V

[10:28] Sweeperthemerc: It has killed a lot of memory, and even EVGA have been having those issues.

[10:28] Sweeperthemerc: Then there is the random nForce related crashes and BSOD's...

[10:28] Sweeperthemerc: The memory controller is really picky.

[10:29] nomakewan: Um, I've read that they work just fine if you use the memory that eVGA tested...which I would be, since the Kingston 4GB kit I was looking at happens to be cheap and on that list.

[10:29] Sweeperthemerc: Heh, no guarantees I am afraid.

[10:29] Sweeperthemerc: It means you are SUPPOSED to have no problems, but you are far from the safe zone.

[10:29] Sweeperthemerc: Memory slots also have a tendency to go dud at random too.

[10:30] Sweeperthemerc: There was a guy having to swap around his memory as slots 2 and 4 went dud and only gave crashes upon boot after a while.

[10:30] Sweeperthemerc: then nr 3 went dud.

[10:30] Sweeperthemerc: And he returned his motherboard.

[10:30] nomakewan: Lemme give you a hint, Sweeper.

[10:30] Sweeperthemerc: Asked for a refund + shipping and got a X48.

[10:30] nomakewan: Listening?

[10:30] nomakewan: I....

[10:30] nomakewan: ...Don't...

[10:30] nomakewan: ...Care.

[10:31] nomakewan: o_o Really.

[10:31] nomakewan: I'll take my chances, mmkay?

[10:31] Sweeperthemerc: Well at least you know what you are going to.

[10:31] nomakewan: I'll build this.

[10:31] nomakewan: If it works great? Awesome!

[10:31] nomakewan: If it doesn't? Then you can have your eagerly-awaited "I-told-you-so."

[10:31] nomakewan: But until then?

[10:31] Sweeperthemerc: I have told you what to expect, so you won't be surprised.

[10:31] nomakewan: STFU PLZ.

[10:31] nomakewan: kthx

[10:31] Sweeperthemerc: And if the bugs pop up, you know where it comes from

Skal man ha Nvidia så skal man ha det... HEH.

Tror jeg mistet lysten på Striker'n nå ja.
