Asus P5N-E SLI og Quad Core/Q6600 overklokking (Intel P35 og X38/X48 Tweaking)

har akkurat bygget en Q6600 pc med Blue Orb II - den er ikke akkurat egnet til OC med Q6600..... Den sitter riktignok i en TT Lanbox Lite, men uklokket så drar den over 60c med Prime95 Small FFT - ikke spesielt bra.

Med en Quad? Ikke mye - men hadde ikke forventet stort heller, hadde Blue Orb II på en singelcore Athlon64 3500+ for noen år siden - den var bedre der, men ikke fantastisk akkurat.

det er vell mulighet for å undervolte cpu'en? da får du sikkert finere tempraturer også.

Kjører den på 1.0 volt, den vil ikke lavere, den idler fremdeles høyere enn min egen [email protected] gjør på full load - riktignok på vannkjøling da men, skal ikke forvente mer heller, Blue Orb II er jo gammel - den var ingen toppkjøler når den kom på markedet heller.

Det verste er at jeg vet det blir bare problemer men er fortsatt tiltrukket det kortet der av en eller annen merkelig grunn.

Riktignok blir det bare en 500 kroners Celeron på den og ett ultra billig skjermkort men...

 

Noen gode råd hvordan jeg kan glemme det skrotet der?

Har du slått deg? Hvis man vil seg så vondt er det kun EVGA som gjelder, mest pga av enorm support.

[10:28] Sweeperthemerc: It has killed a lot of memory, and even EVGA have been having those issues.

[10:29] nomakewan: Um, I've read that they work just fine if you use the memory that eVGA tested...which I would be, since the Kingston 4GB kit I was looking at happens to be cheap and on that list.

[10:29] Sweeperthemerc: It means you are SUPPOSED to have no problems, but you are far from the safe zone.

[10:29] Sweeperthemerc: Memory slots also have a tendency to go dud at random too.

[10:30] Sweeperthemerc: There was a guy having to swap around his memory as slots 2 and 4 went dud and only gave crashes upon boot after a while.
