Greia er at Powder har blitt sperra ute av en server fordi han jukser av adm. Innocent. Powder synes dette er svært urettferdig, og har korrespondert med Innocent angående problemet.

This is an email discussion that has been going on between me and innocent. I have been playing on AfterHourz for a couple of months now. I have never been accused of cheating on any Afterhourz servers(generally play gun assault). I have never been abusive to any other players. I have never used foul language. I have always been ready to sit behind the lines and hold strong points for the good of the team. If an admin wants somebody to get off so they can get on and do whatever it is they need to do I have always been ready to make that sacrifice. Those of you who have played with me know that it is all about the team for me on Afterhourz. So here is the email discussion so you guys can put in your $0.02.

"Did you talk to other people on the server. Why am I banned. I never used any cheats on your server. What I do on other servers should have no effect on any other servers. This is ****ing bullshit. I was always a fair player on your server. I never bad mouthed anyone. Never caused any shit. Always help when I could. If an admin had to get on for some reason i always offered to get off the server and let them take my spot. Is there no appeals process. You think I was cheating and thats it. Nice fascist server you are runing there. The third reich would be proud and especially Martin Bormann. Well I guess will just have to change my IP address. Heil."

"Yes, I did speak with other people.

I'm not at all convinced you haven't used cheats on our servers, otherwise why would I find mistyped commands to start the aimbot's autofire routine in the chat log from you.

 

What you do on other servers or our servers absolutely has an effect on your ability to play here and elsewhere. As I told you in TS, we regularly submit demos to Cheat Police and get their CD keys added to the Master Ban List (MBL) for all server admins to use if they want. We also take keys added to the Cheat Police MBL from cheats on other servers and add them right into our banned list, whether they've been here or not. We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating, and that's the bottom line.

 

If I wanted to really push this issue, I could submit your CD key to Cheat Police. Others have been added to their Master Ban List for exactly the same reason you got banned on our server - mistyped bot commands that showed up in the console. I'm not going to do that in your case. However, it would be unfair to our members to allow someone back on to our servers who appears to have been trying to cheat ( as shown in the logs, that was your own doing, not mine ), and who has admitted using aimbots on live servers ( and I really don't care whose ). Your ban will remain. This could have all been avoided by simply playing fair and not even going down that road in the first place. You have only yourself to blame. As I said to you in TS - you may think playing with a bot is "fun" (your words), however, the other players on the server definitely don't feel that way, and the admins of those servers don't feel that way. Cheating is not fun, and this is the inevitable result.

 

The appeals process is what you just did, or feel free to make your case in the forums. But as of right now, I see no reason to lift your ban. It is in the best interest of our players.

Feel free to change your IP all you want. You're not banned by IP, but rather your CD key.

"Was it a mistyped command to start it or to stop it. Like I said the start command is programmed into my controler so if I loaded the wrong controller configuration then i would have to type in the stop command and I would probably do it quickly hence the mistyping or it could have been my wireless keyboard that doesn't type that well sometimes. I don't know if the logs will show this or not but I did leave right after that to change the configuration of my controller and to make sure that I had loaded the non cheat .exe.

 

In reference to your second point of course is has an effect on my ability to play the game that is the whole point. Do you think it is fun for me to be killed time after time by a camping sniper who is spawn killing or do you think it is fun for the people without teamspeak on your server that get killed because you have told the other players on your team where that person is via teamspeak. This is a game and to win at any game you have to find the advantage and use it. On your servers the advantage is in the teamspeak and exceptional players that you are teamed up with which is why I played on your server 99% of the time. I also said that it was fun "sometimes". Haven't you played the single player version of a game with God mode on. I also never lie about using an aimbot. If soembody calls me on it I tell them the truth like I did with you. That is another fun thing about it sometimes. trying not to get caught. Getting enough kills that it's fun but not so many that you get called for an aimbot. Dying enough times to make it look normal but not enough to make it unfun for yourself.

 

Some people enable the autofire option. I never do. When you are using an aimbot you have to know when to shoot. I also don't set my field of view that wide it is only 7 degrees that way it only locks on to people when I know where they are and you never know when somebody is specing you so you can't shoot at anybody that you can't see. It is all about evening out the playing field. I play my games on my 27inch TV sitting some 5 feet away. Most people play on a 17inch or 19inch monitor sitting 2 feet away and they have the advantage there because even though my TV is 27inches the resolution sucks(right now I am sitting 1 foot from it because I can barely see what I am writing). There is a new 2 laser optical mouse coming out that will track better that the one laser version should they be banned from all servers becasue they give an advantage. I am getting off topic here but I am trying to get across the point that some of us aren't as good as others and some(like me) down right suck and all we want is to sometimes feel the taste of victory and there are other times when we want the challenge of being the underdog. I have noticed that most of the time the people using teamspeak on your gun assault server choose to play on the axis side. Do you think they know that teamspeak gives them an advantage and they even up the odds by chossing the side with the distinct weapons disadvantage and don't they sometimes play on the allies side because it is also nice sometimes to kick ass.

Litt morsomt at han skylder på skjermen sin + avstanden til skjermen som grunn for å bruke aimbot, selv om han "aldri" slår på autofire. Andre har mye bedre skjermer og sitter nærmere, derfor MÅ han bruke aimbot "to level out the field" som han sier..ROFL.

Det er som å si "everyone is alot better than me, so I have to cheat so the game won't be boring for ME".

Synes spesielt at dette er et idiotisk argument:

Det er da nemlig noen av oss som da både får bank av de flinkeste og som i tillegg "får bank" av juksemakerne, og derfor virkelig sliter.

 

Men det er fascinerende hvor iherdig fyren er.

I have a very smart cat. Well one evening I left my computer turned on and my cat lilkes to surf the web. (He likes playing with the mouse) and he must have come across one of those cheating sites. I was asleep at the time so I couldn't stop what he did next. Would you believe it, he accidentally installed a wall hack into my game. I didn't know he did it until I got banned. I was able to deduce this is what happened when I went through my history settings and saw the sites that he had visited. Now I would never cheat and this has never happened to me before (except for that one time when my little sister installed that other hack I don't like to talk about) and I was hoping I could get unbanned. Can you help me. I would never cheat and I can't afford to buy a new game.

En typisk kombinasjon er aimbot og speedhack (springe mye fortere), og da vil det se ut som spilleren er helt spastisk, bare henger i lufta og spinner rundt omkring (scriptet sikter etter alle playerne på brettet uavhengig av synslinje).
