Hvorfor det? Jeg vil ikke la vær å gi en film en 10er bare fordi jeg har gitt mange andre filmer 10. Det blir for dumt, ser jeg en film og synes den er verdig en tier, så skal den få en tier.

10 er selve definisjonen på perfekt film. Men om man mener man har sett 20 perfekte filmer som er akkurat like gode, så skal ikke jeg klage.

Hvis man ser gjennom hele IMDbs topp 250 liste, AFIs 100 beste og plukker og velger fra TSPDT eller "1000 filmer du må se før du dør", så vil du etterhvert ha sett de 300-500 kanoniserte og godkjente "beste filmene noensinne". Dette blant et utvalg på ca tusen milliarder filmer (sånn ca). Da ser jeg ingen grunn til at man ikke kan finne godt over 50 10er-filmer, eller kanskje enda flere.

Det kommer ann på hvordan man bruker skalaen. Jeg bruker alltid favoritt filmen min som en standard for topp karakteren. Dermed deler jeg kun ut 10'ern dersom en film er veeeldig close eller bedre enn min nåværende favoritt. Det som sjer da er at om jeg skulle se en film som er mye bedre enn favoritten min, vil dette resultere i at jeg blir nødt til å slanke toppen slik at ikke gapet mellom beste og dårligste 10'er blir for stort.

Det er derfor jeg har skrevet om de spesielt. Jeg likte de ikke da jeg så de første gang, men "vet" dette er gode filmer, så derfor har jeg tenkt til å gi den en kjangs til.

 

Første gangen jeg så The Labyrinth, la den seg helt ned på 4, men da jeg så den igjen for et par måneder siden, 8, nesten 9. It's all about the mood (noe som er ganske skremmende)

Jeg er heller ikke enig med alt på Lil-H sin liste, akkurat som ingen av oss ville være enig med hva vi forskjellige individer voter.

 

2001 er en kul film, jeg liker spesielt det vanvittig solide inntrykket den gir visuelt og teknisk, dette kombinert med godt skuespill og en litt creepy underliggende "skygge" så legger den seg høyt oppe, men dessverre synes jeg den er litt treg av seg og trekker den ned på grunn av det.
