Inaktiv bruker 3 Skrevet 10. mars 2009 Skrevet 10. mars 2009 The Lost and Damned is a pretty sweet dlc. Totally worth every penny.
Xifi Skrevet 13. mars 2009 Skrevet 13. mars 2009 Well, I'm going to buy Dawn of war 2 tomorrow ;D Anyone else here got that game?
Lombax0 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 (endret) How come there have been three days since anyone have posten anything in this topic? Anyway, I was wondering where you guys have picked up most of your english? I myself havent really done much school work, my English mostly comes from watching a lot of tv and playing games in English. And because of this i have gotten top grades in English for as long as i can remember. So my point here is videgames can actually lead to something good. Take that video game haters! So, are there anyone here have the same experience as me in school with English lessons? I have never had any trouble in the subject really.. - Orker ikke oversette det til norsk : p Endret 16. mars 2009 av Lombax0
Toroto92 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 (endret) I've always done pretty well in English, due to the fact that I watched movies and series as a kid. Also because when I really learned English I started to read books that were written in english too, though the fact that I played World of Warcraft and games that was needed to have some skill in talking English is also a big part of it. I always find myself getting lower grades in writing than oral. Endret 16. mars 2009 av Genetics
Gjest Bruker-127711 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 I played WoW for 2 and a half year. I believe that's my main source to epic skils.
Laland Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Forfatter Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Videogames. That's the answer. Some old DOS and Nintendo 64 games are without a doubt my most influental source of english!
Gormers Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 I always find myself getting lower grades in writing than oral. That is strange... A friend of mine knows german because he watched dragon ball and shows like that when he was a kid on different german tv channels. I wish I had done that...
Vaenas Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Skrevet 16. mars 2009 Laland, actually it's same here. Nintendo 64 games and Civilization was what made me learn English.
Rider of Reason Skrevet 17. mars 2009 Skrevet 17. mars 2009 (endret) I guess that in my childhood movies and video games have been the most influential part for learning english. But in later years I would say that books have taken over the role of tutor. And the chief benefactor for my straight A's in English. That said I think video games are an excelent way of learning english. Not only do you learn the words, but also how to speak and pronounce them correctly. In fact schools should use more interactive ways, such as video games, of teaching children foreign languages. And they should start at an early age, berhaps even in kindergarden. And, being my first post here, I must give praise to Laland for this creating this thread. It's a great help for those who wish to improve their English. And finaly, if you feel that you read English just as well as Norwegian, I recomend reading Sillmarillion in English. That's a challenging task even for the advanced English learner. Wartom_InnleggNO Skrevet 17. mars 2009 Skrevet 17. mars 2009 And suddenly I fell upon this thread with reckless cruelty and submitted a post written in English, for great justice and for the good of mankind.
HerrGhost Skrevet 17. mars 2009 Skrevet 17. mars 2009 It takes time for a package to get from London to Bergen.
Laland Skrevet 17. mars 2009 Forfatter Skrevet 17. mars 2009 I ordered an iPhone battery from Hong Kong, and it arrived at Gardemoen after two days. The norwegian postal service used five(!) days to get it from Oslo to me here in Kragerø. Ridiculous!
Gjest Bruker-127711 Skrevet 17. mars 2009 Skrevet 17. mars 2009 How long does that battery last without being charged, Laland? I need to charge my iPhone everynight to be able to hear music the day after.
Laland Skrevet 17. mars 2009 Forfatter Skrevet 17. mars 2009 I'm not sure, really. Ordered it for a friend. But, my iPhone 3G's battery needs a charging a day, or at the best, every other day with wifi, gps, 3g and a good deal of music played each day.
Toroto92 Skrevet 17. mars 2009 Skrevet 17. mars 2009 I agree Laland. I ordered clothes from America, and they got to Gardemoen in two days, though they used six days to get to Haugesund, a trip which takes six hours.
