Instalere TBC på Vista Home Premium - Not enough Disk Space

Kjøpte ny laptop med Vista Home Premium og instalerte WoW smertefritt..skulle så instalere TBC, noe som ikke gikk fullt så fint. Åpner instalerer, trykker på install, og aksepterer EULA'en. Da kommer følgende opp:

 

This disk doesnt have enough free space to install Burning Crusade. (More than 1,8GB is required, but only 0,0MB is available.) Please free up space or try installing to a different disk.

 

Har ingenting annet instalert på PC-en, helt fresh Vista install. Får jo ikke velge disk en gang før den sier at jeg ikke har nok plass. WoW er instalert på C:\Programfiler\WoW

 

Har prøvd:

 

1. Run as administrator

2. I safemode (som admin)

3. Instalere med CD / instalasjonsfiler fra wow-europe.com

4. Disable alt av sikkerhetsfunksjoner i Vista / Brannmurer / Antivirus

5. Lukke alle prossesser som ikke trengs

6. Kjøre i kompabilitetsmodus for WinXP

Copying the CDs to the Hard disk

 

Its possible that the installer may be having problems copying the data from the disks during the install process, a possible solution to this problem and for disk reading errors is to copy the disks to the hard disk.

 

Please read the following instructions carefully.

 

- Make a new folder on your desktop and call it WoWExpCDs

- Insert the first Burning Crusade CD and if the Installer loads automatically close it

- Open the contents of the CD using Windows Explorer

- Go to the Edit menu and choose Select all, so all the files are highlighted.

- Go to the Edit menu and choose Copy then close the CD window

- Open the new folder you created on your desktop

- Go to the Edit menu and choose Paste so the files copy from the CD into this folder

- If you are asked if you wish to replace existing files choose to replace them

- Once this completes insert the next disc and repeat steps 2 to 8 to copy the files from all 4 CDs

 

If the disks copy with no problems, try then running the installer from that new directory to see if it helps
