Clusterstørrelse ved videoredigering (store filer)

God morgen :)

 

Lurte på om det er noe vits og forandre/formatere HDD med større clustere

enn standard i Win XP når man bruker f.eks. AVID Express pro som lager store filer ? Noe mer-ytelse å hente ?

Så posten din, men har ingen erfaring med å forandre cluster størrelse.

Men siden du sendte en PM så kan jeg alltids komme med noe synsing. ;)

 

Jeg vil absolutt tro at store cluster vil gi bedre ytelse med store filer.

If the files you store tend to be large or increase in size, use 16- or 32-KB clusters instead of the default 4-KB cluster size.

Ellers er det kanskje Raid-0 (striping) som skal til for å øke ytelsen til video redigering.
