Er det noen som har fanget opp hvordan man skifter mellom H-giring og padsa bak rattet? Slik jeg har skjønt det, så støtter ikke GT5P F1 giring eller indikatorlysene, dog skulle dette virke i GT5TT?

 

Det var en på GTplanet som hadde snakket med kaz og noen av dem som satt høyt oppe i PD, hvor han fikk bekreftet at G27 settet kun vil være rundt 90% kompatibelt med GT5.

Det var snakk om at Logitech ikke ville endre på firmwaren, slik at det ville kjøre helt smooth med GT5.

 

Ikke vet jeg, så lenge det funker minst like bra som i GT5P, så er jeg fornøyd.

 

I know that the clutch was disabled for the Indy Time Trial. When I asked Kaz's Interpreter about the functionality of the G27 in GT5 last Wednesday at the GT Awards Party, I was told " The G27 will not be Fully Supported, but the DFGT will". Now what exactly that means is not clear to me. The Paddles did work on the Indy TT as well as the shift lights, for whatever that is worth. I would not be surprised if the clutch was not supported on the G27, but I do not know.

 

When talking with the highest levels of Polyphony Digital, they did indeed confirm that the fault for the G27 not being fully supported lies with Logitech. Logitech failed to code certain things with the G27 firmware that PD required, so it will only be partially supported. I too have a brand new G27, so I am in the same exact postion as every other G27 owner. I am a huge Logitech fan, but PD said that there were issues that gave the G27 an unfair advantage, whatever that refers to. I am just relaying info that I got from Kaz's interpreter. That's the most accurate and believeable info for me.

 

All I know about the Firmware issues are directly from the highest levels of Polyphony Digital. When I was asking them at the GT Awards Show about the G27, Taka told me:

 

" When we tested the G27, it had some functionality in the shifting process that gave it an unfair advantage over other peripherals. You were able to shift the G27 without losing any speed/ power. We repeated worked with Logitech to remedy this, but Logitech refused to alter their Firmware to our standards. Therefore the G27 will not be fully supported in G27"

 

I too, do not fully understand exactly what this means. I am just giving you the exact words, from Kaz's interpreter. That is the highest level of PD , as far as I am concerned. You cannot get any more direct info than this, in my opinion.

 

It is unclear to me if the paddle shifters will work or not. I certainly hope so, as I bought a new G27, and have been waiting to use it, like many others. I am hoping that the lack of full support is just having to do with the clutch function.

 

My understanding of what was quoted and the current situation is as follows:

 

- It is a fact that for GT5 Prologue, the paddle shifters and the clutch work on the G25, and for the G27 the paddles do NOT work but the clutch does. So, both have functional clutches.

 

- It is a fact that the button assignment for the G25 and G27 took place under the DFP menu in GT5 Prologue.

 

- It is a fact that for the later-released GT5 Academy TT at Indianapolis in the 370Z, the paddles on the G27 worked. For this demo TT the clutch was disabled for G25 and G27. Button assignment for G25 and G27 still took place under the DFP menu.

 

- It is a fact that through certain modifications, in GT5P with the use of the G25 (and I assume the G27) there was a way to flat-shift using the clutch. This is most obvious in the online time trial leaderboards from users |_|AmiR|_| and |_|UfuK|_| who modified their equipment to allow shifting up without the loss of any power, hence massively better time trial times. This was also possible in races. This in my opinion, is the unfair advantage that they are referring to.

 

- In the first GT Academy, clutch use was allowed. In the GT5 Academy TT the clutch was disabled, possibly due to the above advantage the modification brings to the G25/27 user's upshifting.

 

My interpretation is that as a result of this modification's massive advantage over other wheels in regards to the G25 and G27, Polyphony Digital cannot "Officially" support these wheels as Logitech have not created firmware to eliminate the advantage of this modification. I therefore believe that you will still be able to use your clutch on your G25 and G27 in Gran Turismo 5, and maybe the modification to allow flatshifting will still work.

 

However, if PD go so far as to actually completely disable the clutch for G25, and you have purchased a G27 or G25, the paddles will still work, the pedals and build quality will still be superior to that of a DFGT.

 

It's my opinion that the clutch will work in GT5, they just cannot officially support the wheels due to the unfair advantage of the modification.

For å ikke spore helt av , er det bare jeg som ikke får tilgang til å trykke på Community på hovedmenyen? Tipper dette er online funksjonen .. Blir kanskje ikke tilgjenglig før release ..

Etter å ha spilt en del timer så synes ikke jeg dette er noe bedre enn Forza3.

Men trekker opp med litt Rally osv

En annen liten ting er at jeg synes grafikken er livløs,hadde gjort seg med flagg som beveger seg i vinden eller skikkelig publikum langs veiene i stedet for pappskiver.

Merker bare at jeg er ikke så ivrig på bilspill som tidligere.....siste gangen jeg var skikkelig hekta var GT3 til PS2.

Det er samme som på GT PSP, alle dealerne er ikke der hele tiden.. Ferrari f.eks. skal visstnok komme etter dag 76 eller noe sånt :)

 

Alle dealerene som skal være under dealership er der, men på used cars så finner du ca 800 used(standard bilene). Denne listen endrer seg hver "dag" slik at man må titte innom ofte ;) Akkurat som used listen var på GT1,2,3 og 4. Så vidt jeg husker i allefall.

Noen av dere andre her på forumet har visst slik som meg, allerede mottatt spillet i posten dersom dere forhåndsbestilte og dermed fått et lite "tjuvsprang".

 

Mottok selv spillet i går.

 

Det stemmer at det er de til sammen 800 standard-bilene som man må plukke opp på bruktbilmarkedet. Disse bilene har et meget godt synlig lavere detaljnivå (ser ut til å være portet fra GT4, dessverre) og har ikke dashbord-kamera. Originalhjulene/felgene kan heller ikke byttes ut. Alle vindusrutene er "sotet" for å skjule mangelen på interiør.

 

Siden denne katta mer eller mindre allerede var ute av sekken månedsvis siden, og såvidt jeg vet bekreftet av Polyphony Digital, vil ikke jeg ha på meg at jeg spolerer moroa for dere som fortsatt venter på dette spillet. Tror likevel de fleste som visste om standard- og premiumbilene hadde håpet og trodd at standardbilene ville holde høyere nivå enn dette...

 

Jeg synes det er et skår i gleden at 80 % av bilene holder samme detaljnivå som forrige generasjons PS. Selv om de resterende ca. 200 bilene er nydelige å se til.
