Testet nå, dette fungerte på Win7 32bit med Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN, husker ikke kilden til denne guiden:

1. Go to command prompt (type cmd in the Windows Start menu) and type ipconfig /all

2. Copy the Physical Address (MAC) for the network adapter you want to change:

Example: 00-12-23-C3-F9-3E

You can also get the MAC address for the active network with this command:

net config rdr

It will give you something that looks like this at the end, this is your MAC. As you see, same values as above: (001223C3F93E)

3. Go to the Device Manger (type devmgmt.msc in the Windows Start menu)

4. Double click the network adapter which you want to change the MAC address for

5. Enter Details tab and find the "Driver key"

6. Copy the value of that key somewhere, like here:

Example: {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxx}\0004

7. Type regedit in Windows Start menu to to start the registry editor

8. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\

9. Find the key value from step 6: {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxx}

10. Expand the tree to see the subfolder from step 6, eg.: \0004

11. Check DriverDesc keyword to see if that's the NIC you want to change the MAC address for

12. Check if the keyword "NetworkAddress" exists

13.

If NetworkAddress keyword exists, it should be of type REG_SZ

Double click it and enter 12 "digits", this will be your new MAC address

On Windows 7 and with new network drivers, it is only possible to spoof to 0200xxxxxxxx, or to 12xxxxxxxxxx. You will have to experiment. According to wikipedia, only the second "digit" must be one of these values: 2,6,A,E

14.

If NetworkAddress keyword does not exist, go to Edit > New > String Value

Value Name = NetworkAddress (check that the Type is REG_SZ for the new string)

Double click the new string and enter 12 "digits" (your new MAC, see step 13)

15. Disable the affected Network Adaptor in Windows and enable it again

16. In command prompt, type ipconfig /all to confirm the new MAC address

17. To restore the original MAC address, just remove the NetworkAddress keyword you added to the registry

MAC er IKKE hardkodet, den kan spoofes lett som F.

Her må artikkelen endres Arsæll.

Arsæll er vel mer opptatt av clickcount enn fakta.

Uansett, hva er poenget/motivet (til MS og andre) med å lagre hvilket nett MAC adressene er tilknyttet ?
