Allighiero Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Skrevet 7. juni 2009 The shower in my flat is full of ants, and it's weekend so noone will come around to fix it. Got to love living in halls!
Jørgen Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Skrevet 7. juni 2009 There's nothing like freezing your brains out after PE I find that showering is underrated, at least I feel that way when taking the subway during rush hour
Ljóseind Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Skrevet 7. juni 2009 What would you guys think of a "generel diskusjon med fortisspråk - sånn derre snakke sammen med fjortizz zpråk lizzåmm" - thread in the lekeplass section of the forum. Would it be succesfull? I guess many wouldn't even have to change their ways of writing to fit in there.
Vikingspeider Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Skrevet 7. juni 2009 I don't know. I only write in standard Bokmål anyway, on msn and everywhere else, too. Maybe because it's my dialect... but perhaps it would be successfull. Give it a go!
Lidskjalv Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Forfatter Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Well, I kinda figured [...]forgiven for that easly MPP=mistakes ping-pong Actually entertaining Tips:
Lidskjalv Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Forfatter Skrevet 7. juni 2009 (endret) Ok! Tough i still see this thread as unecessary. (Siste ble skrevet rett ja?) Among the hundred of thousand of really interesting threads at Diskusjon.no, this is actually a niche thread. Unique in purpose and form. And as the original welcome text said: "The perfect place to practice and develop your skills in a friendly environment. " Endret 7. juni 2009 av Lidskjalv

Jørgen Skrevet 7. juni 2009 Skrevet 7. juni 2009 You're right, noone speaks "bokmål" or "nynorsk". We all speak dialects, although the Oslo - dialect is probably the closest to "bokmål". This thread is quite inactive though, and I must say it isn't really helping me expand my vocabulary.
Slimda Skrevet 8. juni 2009 Skrevet 8. juni 2009 Then contribute to it, start a topic about something, like the total awesomeness of myself.

Was that on purpose?
Molotovcocktail Skrevet 8. juni 2009 Skrevet 8. juni 2009 Expand vocabulary you say? Then I suppose an insult or two in Shakspearian English would be in place: S'wounds thou art a roynish base-court lout! Ye weedy pottle-deep ratsbane! http://www.renfaire.com/Language/insults.html
Slimda Skrevet 8. juni 2009 Skrevet 8. juni 2009 Using Shakespearian english is silly. Everybody knows that Shakespear's works were written by monkies.
Molotovcocktail Skrevet 8. juni 2009 Skrevet 8. juni 2009 I KNEW IT! Most plausible explanation for Hamlet so far.
