Fjerne boot for Mandriva? (Fikset)

Hei.

 

Jeg prøvde Mandriva og det var ikke noe for meg.

 

Så hvordan kan jeg fjerne at den booter fra Mandriva? Jeg har to harddisker, hvor bootrecord ble installert på disk 1 (Windows). Jeg brukte Partition Magic 8 for å formatere disk 2. Men nå får jeg opp Mandriva-screen hele tiden, hvor jeg må velge Windows. Irriterende...

 

Så, hvordan fjerner jeg den? Noen som kan hjelpe meg?

Sett inn windows cd'en og test repair du. Tror den fikser MBR til default windows da.

Tror du det? Men blir ikke ting restartet da? Trenger jeg og installere SP2 da?

- gå inn i 'Repair Console'

- Skriv inn 'fixmbr' og 'fixboot'

Jeg fikset det.

 

Nytt problem:

Når jeg går inn på Windows (jeg valgte også at den skulle reparere) så kommer det: ''The file ''asms'' on Windows XP CD-Rom is needed''.

 

Hva gjør jeg?

Method 1

Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

 

1. When you receive the error message, press SHIFT+F10 to start a command session.

 

2. Type regedit.exe, and then press ENTER.

 

3. Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

 

4. On the File menu, click Load Hive, and then load %Windir%\System32\Config\System.sav.

 

5. When you are prompted to specify a name, type Test.

 

6. Locate and then click the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Test\ControlSet1\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

 

7. Delete the UPPERFILTERS and LOWERFILTERS registry keys.

 

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the other ControlSet# keys under the Test hive.

 

9. Click File, and then click Exit to quit Registry Editor.

 

10. If the path in the error message is the correct drive letter for the CD-ROM drive, click OK to continue the Setup program.

 

11. If you receive the error message again, the Setup program cannot correctly read from the CD-ROM drive, or the path information is incorrect. In this case, restart your computer and let the Setup program resume.

 

Jeg fant dette. Men punkt 6 og 7 er litt vanskelige. Skal jeg gjøre det i absolutt alle nøkklene da?

Litt seint nå... men Live-CD er tingen hvis man bare har lyst til å teste Linux....

 

EDIT: Er det ikke raskere med en re-installasjon uansett?

Jeg driver å finner ut av ting nå, gidder nesten ikke med reinstalasjon.
