My name is Claus and I work for Nokia Research and Development.

Part of my job is to ensure that the download and installation of the new N97 2.1 software installer (available via ”Software update” application: http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-s...ftware-update#) will be a smooth experience. I will be monitoring the N97 2.1 software installer rollout in Norway to gather your comments of the update experience.

If you have any questions relating to the downloading and installation of the N97 2.1 SW update, I will do my best to answer them.

By the way, I am Danish, so I will write in English to avoid confusion.

Programvareoppdatering på telefonen virker ikke nå etter oppdatering til 2.1. Den sier at alle program er oppdatert. Dette gjør den før den kobler seg til nettet for å sjekke....

The reason why the software updater is empty is that some applications are included in the new sw release already and for some there is new versions coming shortly so the old ones were removed.

You can find for example Ovi Contacts as an tab in you Contacts application.

Maps update will also reappear very soon (this was a delivery technical issue).

Please note that the “SW update” application keeps a local cache of 24h before it refreshes the updates from server, so all the changes are not visible immediately. But if you turn the device time +25h the device will refresh the list immediately
