Problemer med azureus/java

Hei. Da jeg forsøker å åpne azureus får jeg denne meldinga:

Noen som vet hva som er feil og kan hjelpe meg?

Får vi se innholdet av hs_err_pid24875.log, da?

Hadde jeg funnet denne så, har forsøkt å søke etter den, men finner den ikke. Virka derimot da jeg fjerna azureus, som var lagt inn med atp, og la inn ved å hente den fra sourceforge.

EDIT: Glem det jeg skrev. Jeg hadde akkurat samme problem med samme feilmelding i Ubuntu Edgy. Jeg lastet derfor ned fra http://azureus.sourceforge.net .

If you don’t like using µTorrent with Wine for your torrents, chances are you’re on Azureus. However, the package from Ubuntu’s repos has issues: it won’t show up in or minimize to the system tray and warning pop-ups won’t go away. It is, not surprisingly, a Java issue. This is what you do.

 

1. Install azureus from the Ubuntu repos.

2. Download the appropriate version from the official Azureus site: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php.

3. Unpack Azureus2.jar from the downloaded archive and copy it over the existing one from the Ubuntu installation: sudo cp /home/user/Desktop/Azureus2.jar /usr/share/java/Azureus2.jar.

 

You can also install the whole thing from the Azureus website, but you won’t have a .desktop file to go along with it (I dislike creating them) and will have to remove manually, since it isn’t a package.
