LØST! Nhl 2005 hakker!

Som dere ser har jeg nok maskinkraft til å spill NHL 2005 uten problemer, men det hakker! Skikkelig stakkato bevegelser. Har prøvd å stille på alt, men ingen bedring. Har også prøvd et par drivere (77.72 og 77.76), men det spiller heller ingen rolle. Pc'en er klokket til 245mhz FSB x 10multiplier, og skjermkortet går på 480mhz (default 470). Er det noen som har lest noe om Nhl 2005 og slike problemer? Finner ingenting i dette forumet, og heller ikke ellers på nettet.

Kan legge til at alle andre spill jeg har installert (Doom 3, BF2, Uefa Ch. League 2005, Nba 2005, Brothers in Arms og Colin McRae 2005) kjører flytende og nydelig på maks innstillinger.

Det var faktisk dual core prosessoren min som skapte trøbbel. Se under hva han som tipset meg skrev om problemet, og hvordan jeg løste det.

 

"I notice you have a AMD X2 CPU, try find out the game's thread in the Processes page of the Task Manager (if it allow you to alt-tab out), right click on the thread and choose "Set Affinity", it should have both CPU(Core) checked, uncheck either CPU 0 or CPU 1 to see if the problem fixed.

 

There are many games affected with this kind of problem with only AMD dual core CPUs, it never happen in the Intel dual core or a real dual CPU SMP computer, AMD keep try to mislead us that it is a problem with Cool n Quiet, but I know its not after testing on many different games with different hardware for weeks.

 

I think this is an internal bug of all AMD dual core CPUs (E4 for 512KB, E6 for 1024KB), but AMD don't want to prove it coz if its proved, AMD will need to replace all X2s in the market. Anyway, this problem never affect general software like M$ office, Adobe Photoshop etc, only affect some but not all games, so it give a chance for AMD to escape."
