Do I need to install screen drivers

Have purchased new screen and installing into new PC. Have installed Nvidia drivers and the pictuce quality, options changed dramatically. In additiona there was a CD with screen (Nec 1770NX). So I need to install some screen drivers or something else from that CD? There are some adjustment pattern, information files for Windows, Color profiles... Or will it confront with nvidia drivers?

Screen 'driver' is not a real driver, it is just information for Windows about what signals your screen will support. So there is no conflict with nVidia drivers.

Some screens also come with a Windows program for the screen adjustments, instead of operating the on-screen controls.

ok, I understand I better install screen driver as well. There is also so called Nvidia Detonator. What does that one help? Does it help games? video?

i believe it is better to install the screen "driver", and most of the times you can find newer, more updated ones on the manufacturers homepage, in your case www.nec.com

I would say Nvidia drivers first then Screen drivers.
