Jeg sendte mail til cleverlance cmessenger og spurte om ca kostnader om bruken av cmessenger og dette er svaret jeg fikk:

Hi,

How much costs it? This is big question.

cMesseneger client periodically requests to cMessenger proxy server for new contacts and messages.

Every request has two part.

First part: HTTP head, specific communication header which length depends on phone. Length can be 200 - 800B or nightmare bigger than 1Kb. Nokia has small header, length is around 400B.

Second part: JABBER XML protocol.

For example: message is <message from="[email protected] to="[email protected]">Hi, there :)</message>

But often request's second part is empty, only has some identification session number 10 digits.

Response has two parts too.

First is the same as Request.

Second part includes only one char "space" or some data from server: message, presence or other.

We were testing Nokia 6610, with 120s refresh, 60 contacts during one hour.

Data which was sended and received is smaller than 200Kb/ per hour.

In Czech, APN: WAP is very expensive 0,5Kc per KB

But APN: internet with combination WAPTUNNEL.com wap gateway is great .... 0,03Kc/Kb
