Knewt: Oh, my friend just recieved his Viewty. It's got some quite cool features, such as the 120 fps videocamera. Though, I must confess that it's user interface seems a bit slower and less intuitive than the one on the iPhone.

Yeah.. But I didn't want a iPhone. You can get a iPhone for 3500 kroners on Finn.no. I chose Viewty because of the better specifications.

I've just ordered a new phone with touchscreen and things. LG KU990 Viewty.

Do you find it difficult to write text messages with a touch screen? I'm thinking about ordering a LG with a touch screen, but SMS really doesn't sound easy on this kind of phone. And I have heard that the music player isn't that good on KU990, what do you think?

 

Edit: Oh, since you just have ordered it, maybe it was a bit early for me to ask

I've tried it a few times, because my friend got one. I wouldn't say it is difficult to write text messages, I guess you'll get used to it; my friend doesn't complain. There are, as you may know, two ways of typing text: one is to use an on-screen keyboard, the other is to literally write the letters on the screen using a stylus or your finger.

Stylus looks a little to "business" for me. Litteraly writng the letters has to take ages. Another possibility is to buy a touch screen phone with a normal keypad attached to it. I believe this would make text messaging a whole lot easier. The mobile phone will, however, become bigger and heavier.

Yeah, you're right, but you could use the on-screen keyboard with your fingers.

Yes, but I'm not sure that would be as easy as a normal keypad. Some phones vibrates when you hit the touch screen, right? That sounds frustrating.

Yeah, I belive some of them do, but I am sure you would be able to turn that feature off if you want to.

 

Oh, I lost my phone several weeks ago. I have no idea where to look either

Viewty vibrates when you write on it. Not much, but a little. I don't think I'm going to turn it off. I have to see how hard it vibrates. Have to go now. School!

Damn. I thought I would get my phone today when I saw a post-note (?) in my mailbox. It was just the comptuter-mouse and the headset I ordered two days AFTER the phone. The mouse is really cool, though. It's a Logitech G9.

I also came up in English exam. Personally I'm fine with it. We're the first class that have the exam at my school, and I like English, so I kind of can't wait to get the exam done.
