Hello.

I got a little problem with my bios/cmos.

I just layed new Arctic Silver on my cpu core(core? right word?) and updated my bios.

It worked fine but i didnt see any difference in cpu temperature. maybe when i clock ?

Problem is that when i start computer it starts with 133*11, it should start in 166*11. I only need to change in bios but thats boring after a while... and when i change it .. i can only change to User Define in SoftMenu III. I cant choose 2500+, or 3200+ with the new driver... why ?

Temp right now:

Around:

28/38 Idle

34/45 Playing

Comp:

Abit nf7 v2.0

Amd athlon 2500+ barton

twinmos 512 ddr winbond

thats the important things to know ?

-Thanx, Snusmumrik.

There are often a jumper on the mainboard, which decide CPU to run at 133MHz when pin 1 and 2 are together and CPU runs at 166-200 MHz when pin2 and 3 are together.

Just an idea.

How about the battery thing?

If not: try this:

- Enter BIOS

- Change some of the settings (eg. boot sequence)

- Save changes

- Restart your computer

- Enter BIOS

- Are the changes you made still there?

- If not: contact Abit

- If they are: contact Abit

Good luck!
