    Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).

    Locate the UpperFilters value under the following key in the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    On the Edit menu, click Delete, and then click OK.

    Locate the LowerFilters value under the same key in the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    On the Edit menu, click Delete, and then click OK.

    Quit Registry Editor.NOTE: After you remove the Upperfilters value and the Lowerfilters value, if you notice lost functionality in a particular program, such as CD recording software, you may need to reinstall that software. If the problem recurs, consult with the software vendor for assistance.

     

    Restart your computer.

  5. Dual display med Matrox G450

    Er det noen som kjører med dual desktop på dette kortet dvs. med kopi

    av desktoppen på monitor nr 2 ? Når jeg booter maskina er det samme bilde på begge monitorene, men straks jeg kommer i Windows forsvinner bilde fra monitor nr. 2.

    Det er ikke noe valg i skjermoppsettet der man kan velge cloning av desktoppen, bare utvidet desktop over to skjermer.

    Jeg har det nyeste driverne, og har prøvd med både win2k og xp.

    Jeg var da ganske sikker på at dette skulle være mulig. ???

    Look for a version number (Ver x.x or just x.x ?), usually on the corner of the board near where the keyboard plugs in.

     

    It might be a PCChips M598 - there are NINE versions - has two ISA slots, 3 or 2 PCI slots

     

    M598 - No modem, no LAN - Ver. 5.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0

    M598MR - Modem (only) - Ver. ? (only one?)

    M598LMR - Modem and LAN - Ver. 1.x (several), 5.0, 6.0

     

    It might be a pcchips M599 - has one ISA slot, 3 or 2 PCI slots, - ? versions

    M599 - Ver. ?

    M599LMR - modem and LAN - 1.4x (at least two versions)

    Other Bioses -

     

    Special Infos for the M598LMR :

     

    The Bios for the Board Rev. 6.0 does work on a Rev. 1.3A Board.

    The 1.3 Bios versions at www.pcchips.nl and at www.talent-union.de are for M598MR boards and do not support

    LAN.

    Also the Bios for Rev. 5.0 worked on Rev. 1.3A, but did not enable 100MHz bus speed.

     

    Other sources available if bioses mentioned don't match your board version number - post a reply if that is the case.

  9. Lydopptak i Windows XP

    Noen som har en forklaring på hvorfor det ikke går an

    å ta opp det som blir spilt av gjennom lydkortet ?

    Jeg har prøvd både Sound Forge og lydopptaker

    som følger med XP.

    Lydchipen på hovedkortet er en CMI8738/C3DX.

    I "gamle dager" var det ikke noe problem med et SB AWE32

    lydkort.

    Så spørsmålet blir: Er det mulig å ta opp lyden som

    "passerer" gjennom lydkortet eller har Microsoft gjort

    noe f#¤%& for å forhindre at vi recorder copyrightet materiale ?????

  11. Problemer med Hansol H950 og dvi. Testet defekt

    Min virker helt utmerket med 70 HZ i DVI

    Men der ikke vits å kjøre mer en 60 Hz

     

    Ingen døde piksler det jeg kan se.

     

     

    Analog 75 Hz er også ganske bra. Matrox Mill. G450 på analoginngangen.

    ATI Radeon 9700 Pro på digitalinngangen.

     

    Foreløbig ser skjermen ok ut. God i forhold til prisen.

    Men på levende film er den en katastrofe i forhold til min Sony G520 21"

     

    Nydelig utseende... Switching mellom inngangene er et must, en av hovedgrunnene til at jeg kjøpte denne skjermen, faktisk.
