Problem med installasjon av MyBook på Vista

WD World Book

 

Nettopp fått meg en ny WD MyBook World Edition på 500GB, installerte denne fint på en XP pc men når jeg skulle også få lagt den inn på min nye bærebare med Vista vil ikke installasjonsprogramet starte.

Jeg får beskjed om jeg vil kjøre dette programmet og taster JA, (tillatt) men så henger det bare. Ligger nede på oppgavelinjen men kommer ikke opp.

 

Noen som har noen tips på WD på Vista. Minstenker jo noen sikkerhets innstillinger på Vista.

Vært veldig glad for å få noen tips da jeg hadde tenkt å bruke denne muligheten å lagre hjemme på MyBook når jeg er borte på ferie!!

Jeg sendte samtidig spørsmål til WD support. Hadde trodde jeg skulle få svaret her før de men de svarte på under 2 timer.

Does MioNet work with Microsoft Vista?

 

The MioNet client is not currently Microsoft Vista compatible, however you can run MioNet through a web browser (http://www.mionet.com/mionetweb/) on a Vista computer to access your remote resources

 

For WD Anywhere Access users, the Web version can run on a Vista computer to perform the initial My Book World Edition configuration and to access your account. Users who need to create an account and set up My Book World Edition for the first time can go to http://www.mionet.com/mbvista/. Users who already have an account can access and set up their My Book World Edition at http://www.mionet.com/mybook/.

 

We are currently developing a complete Vista client solution and we anticipate a August 2007 release (subject to change).
