problem med wine + evolvEd (ubuntu)

heiho mine trofaste forumtroll! :w00t:

driver og skal installere evolvEd igjen nå, for jeg savna den så mye fra windows installeringa gikk fint, men støter på noen problmer nå :/

første problem jeg fikk: fikk error om at jeg mangla MSVBVM60.dll.. greit nok, den har jeg skaffa, og får ikke den meldingen lengre.

men når jeg prøver å starte opp nå får jeg: runtime error '380' - invalid property value (fra evolvEd)

og jeg får(warning MYE text!)

Vel, WINE gir ingen garantier for at noe som helst fra Windows vil fungere. Sørg iallefall for at du bruker siste versjon av WINE. Hvis programmet ikke fungerer gjennom WINE er det egentlig ikke så mye å gjøre.

Om du får programmet til å fungere så er det heller ingen garantier for at programmet vil fungere ved en oppdatering eller lignende.

Du kommer til å måtte lære deg en skikkelig teksteditor for GNU/Linux om du har planer om å lære deg litt av systemet... Vel, bør. Jeg foretrekker jeg vim(evt. i form av gvim), men det er flere gode alternativer å se på. Vim kan virke sært at first(samme gjelder Emacs), men så snart du er inne i tastekombinasjoner og slikt kommer du til å se at det hjelper deg til å jobber raskere. Nå kjenner ikke jeg evolved, men det finnes fabelaktige verktøy for GNU/Linux as well, og det er virkelig verdt å ta en titt på dem. Du kan kjøre "vimtutor" i terminal for å få en introduksjon til hvordan vim fungerer.

notepad++ ligner på evolved å den er jo basert på scuintilla, kompiller scintilla så har du en nesten like editor..

husker ikke helt hvordan scintilla skrives..

Det er uansett også greit å i hvert fall ha litt basiskunnskaper om en editor som virker fra kommandolinja, f.eks vi eller emacs. Personlig bruker jeg vi.

sorry om folk fortsto meg helt feil der, men jeg posta ikke her og spurte om hjelp fordi jeg ville ha forslag til et annet program.. jeg har et alternativ i bakhånd, men jeg prøver å få det programmet jeg har brukt lenge(og som jeg kjenner bedre enn alle andre programmer) til å funke.. hvorfor lære seg et nytt program om jeg kan få det programmet jeg kan til å funke? så om ingen er interesert i å hjelpe med å få det til å funke, kan moderator gjerne stenge/slette denne tråden.

edit: om jeg ville ha forslag til et annet program hadde jeg laget en post som heta noe som "trenger forslag til annen webeditor".......
