What DVI cable for NEC 1170NX?

I have 1770NX that has DVI-D in. However there was no DVI cable when I bought the screen. So I went to shop and asked for one. The one shop suggested was DVI-I. They said it should work. However it does not fit the plug on the screen. There is this one long pin (looks like minus sign when looking from the top) and for small pins (two on each side) on the cable, but on the screen input there is only that long pin. No place for four small pins.

 

Has anyone experienced something like this? Any solution?

Well no reply so far... I went around shops today and figured out that actually DVI - D is different from DVI - I. DVI - D is used for NEC1770NX and if you intend to by one, please be aware of this before actually buyng a cable.
