Trådløs ruter koblet mot ruter - sliter med hastigheten

Litt sløv tittel og tagging, problemet er ikke wifi, men ruter nr 2 enten det er kablet eller wifi.

 

Jeg har GET internett 150/15 mbit/s

 

Ruteren jeg fikk fra GET er en Cisco EPC3925. Med kabel koblet mot denne oppnår jeg en hastighet på 150/20 mbit/s målt i browseren på www.bredbandskollen.se. Jeg har slått av det trådløse nettet på denne.

 

På en av LAN portene til Ciscoen har jeg koblet en Asus rt-ac51u, hvor kabelen da går inn i WAN porten på Asusen. Med kabel til laptop mot denne oppnår jeg en hastighet på rundt 55/20 mbit/s. Jeg har slått på det trådløse nettet, og jeg oppnår de samme hastighetene på mobil trådløst. 

 

Jeg har forsøkt å sette Asus ruteren både som en ruter, og som en Access Point (AP), uten at det gir noe utslag på de målte hastighetene. 

 

Jeg gjorde en restore til fabrikkinnstillinger på Asusen min uten at det hjalp.

 

Jeg fant en nyere firmware på asus sin hjemmeside og installerte den. Autodetection fant ingen nyere, derfor prøvde jeg det først nå. Får økt hastigheten noe, opp til 80-90 mbit/s. 

 

Er det noe annet oppsett jeg bør se på, eller kan det være en feil på ruteren?

Haha, den fungerer akkurat så godt som man kan forvente med 100 Mbit på alle nettverksporter (WAN og LAN).

 

Kjøp en skikkelig router. ;)

Argh! Måtte inn på komplett for å finne de detaljene... Håpløst av meg, men så kjøpte jeg ruteren før jeg hadde behov for noe raskere nett.
