Anyone interested in creating a BC2 gaming team/group?

Hello forum! This is my first post!

 

Let me start off by saying I understand Norwegian perfectly. Heck, I have been living here for over 20 years! So if you want to respond to this topic in Norwegian that is perfectly fine!

 

I am looking for some team focused people whom enjoy playing Bad Company 2 on the PC. People that understand the importance of holding down a fort...I mean flag...and providing useful feedback to their squad members.

 

 

Why should you join?

- Perhaps you want to practice your English skills and are too embarrassed to do so among your friends or random in-game strangers?

- Maybe, like me, you don't want to join a Clan just to experience a well structured squad and gameplay?

 

 

A little about me:

I am a kind trapped in a grown mans body.

 

Don't feel threatened that I am "old", I am not a prejudice person. I can happily game with younger players, just as long as you are somewhat mature and able to work as a team...oh, and that you are not blasting Lady GaGa in the background while we play.

 

I'm by no means a professional gamer. I actually mostly play strategy games (see my signature), the Battlefield games are the only FPS games I play actively online due to the focus on teamwork and the need of playing strategically to succeed.

 

Sadly all my gaming friends have "grown up" and put away childish things...unlike me. So I am looking for new gaming buddies.

 

 

I do hope I get some response from you guys! If you have any questions feel free to ask! If you are worried about your English, then write in Norwegian!

 

Just keep in mind I want the team/communication in-game to be in English...or at least mostly. I very often might forget what something is in English and say it in Norwegian...and vise-versa.

 

Don't worry, I am not some stuck up person that takes the game seriously. The main goal is to have fun and goof off.

Are you playing on the computer, or console, (xbox360/PS3??) I luv co-operate with team mates, im sick off all those random people who just go their own way..... And there i stand, alone vs a gang of thousand.

This sounds very interesting to me. I have been looking for more friends to playu BC2 with. Do you have a voice communication server or are you thinking of getting one? Or just using free ones like skype and mumble for now? If you had something like this I'd love to get on straight away!

Hm, I haven't really thought that far. I was just thinking of using the in-game communication, or is that really bad?

 

Unless Skype has implemented a "push-to-talk" function, I don't think it's a viable program to use.

I have never used the in-game communication, but i dont think it is good at all.

 

A voice communication server is good not only for the gameplay, but also because of the social aspect

Good point. I will have a look into that tomorrow, but after a quick Google "mumble" looks like a good program. Can't bet free.

I game across a good squad yesterday, and we used the ingame voice. Worked perfectly. Don't really see the point in setting up a voice server. At least not yet.
