    hei.

     

    Jeg har en wml side, med php. PHP'en parser fint, så det er ikke det som er problemet her. Jeg får enkelt og greit ikke siden opp på mobilen. Den fungerer i editorer.

    det som er inni style varierer. Jeg vil ta bort hele style delen, med alt som er inni.

    Tenkte meg en preg_replace. men er usikker på hvordan jeg kan formulere regexpen til å ta med wildcards? Om det er det jeg må..

    Noen som vet ?

  22. Zargate LAN Winter 2004

    vel. nei. ikke spesielt gamer lan, selv om det er veldig mange gode spillere i alle compos. Vi har hatt en stor mengde whinende fjortiser. Og har hver gang arrangert "funnycompos", som er konkurranser der man ikke trenger pc. f.eks "urge" compo.

     

    Alle "Progamerene" som har vært med oss før har ikke likt dette da de ikke får konsentrert seg. Nå har de derfor fått ett eget rom med plass til 42 personer. I quake3 og ut1 er det påmeldt landets beste spillere.

     

    Nettverket i år vil også bli bedre da det er fullswitched 3com 100mbit med 1gbit uplink mot den splitter nye HP backbonen vår. Vi har også gått til innkjøp av en helt ny dual Xeon server så routinga skal gå bra.

     

    Vi kjører også casemod compo premier i år! Med krav om originalitet (ikke bruke 10000 på mikroplex). Premiene der er levert av Komplett.no. Vinner der får ett komplett vannkjølingssett..

    Obviously this lan is too soon for the Cup finish, although Zargate host two lans per Year and are hosting another in September/October time, this is the one the prizes will be for. Zargate is very pleased to offer the Winner of 1st Division 0ld Sk00l Cup two completely free tickets for him and his friend for the ProGamer area of the LAN.     What is the pro-gamer area?

     

    The pro-gamer area is a brand new concept in ZarGate history. During all past LAN's all participants were in the same area. There is always a lot of noise, laming and whining in these areas. For those who have been to any larger LAN should know and fear this. :) Therefore, at this ZG we decided to give some of the more serious gamers a better solution, and a better LAN overall. Of course, not everyone is suited to be there.

     

    What do I get in this area?

     

    Mainly, you get calm, free from noise, and not at least, free from speakers area. This area has its own entrance, and is totally shielded off from the rest of the party. You can of course access it through the LAN. :) You will have an own dormitory, own showers free for use and access cards so only you who shall be there gain access. Speakers are forbidden! Everyone in this area must use earphones. This is not negotiable. Speakers will be taken from you, and given back when you leave, if you are stupid enough to bring them after reading this. :) There will be 2x 24 ports switches with 1GB link directly to our backbone, to ensure the lowest ping possible for you. All the dedicated game servers will be put directly into these two switches. We will have the following servers available for your convenience;

     

    Counter-Strike 5on5, 3 servers Quake3 Arena TDM 4on4, 2 servers Tourney 1on1, 4 servers FFA 8 players, 1 server Unreal tournament TDM 2on2, 3 servers CTF 2on2, 1 server

     

    The DC hub and IRC Server will also be located on this room's backbone.

    1. Where and When?

    2. The Network

     

    We have a full switched 3com system providing all participants with high speed and low ping connections. We have a 1GB backbone and a kick ass dual Xeon server that will assure you stable internet, fast downloads, a DC-HUB and local IRC server.

     

    3. Internet

     

    We are currently not satisfied with the internet solution the past LAN's had so we are negotiating with several local providers, and we assume that we can guarantee 20mbit at the next ZarGate. We are of course working on getting more bandwidth.

     

    4. Power

     

    To have enough power to avoid power breaks on a LAN is alpha-omega. It's very important that you leave your monitor switch on "off" position until you have plugged in the power cable. This will prevent high starting current and avoid power breaks. Also, all plugs, cables and equipment you are going to use at ZG must be grounded! If you ignore this, you may cause several power failures and the 23 others on your power supply, won't be happy, it's for your own good. We will provide you with 16 x 32 Ampere switchboards which comes to a grand total of 512 Ampere, and in theory that is twice what is needed, but anyway, please follow these instructions.

     

    5. Compos

     

    We will this year also have many compos with money prizes. A grand total of 35000, - NOK (!!!) will give you good competitions on a high skilled level; we know you will love the compos on ZG 2004 :) The following games will be played:

     

    Counter-Strike 5on5 (12500)

    Quake3 - Arena 1on1 and 2on2 (6000)

    Unreal Tournament 1on1 and 2on2 (10500)

    WarCraft 3 - TFT 2on2 (4000)

    StarCraft: Broodwars 1on1 (2000)

    6. Pro-gamer Area

     

    Brand new at ZarGate 2004 is the "pro-gamer area". It's has become a reality after requests from earlier participants that are there mainly to play a certain game or games, and to win the game. It will be physically separated from the others, but still linked via network. You get more info about this goodie if you press "progamer area" at the top of this page.

     

    7. Special info

     

    Hotel rooms: ZarGate crew has the opportunity to put those of you who wants in hotel rooms, some people doesn't want to sleep on a mattress on the floor next to a bunch of strangers. If you and your friends want to use this opportunity, we must have a mail from you NOT LATER THEN 2 WEEKS BEFORE ZG STARTS! This is to make reservations and get discounts in time. We think you will understand this. :)

     

    Allergies: We are fully aware that some of you can have allergies that force you to eat a certain type of food, take insulin or something like that; this area does in fact have a small kitchen for those who must make their own food. There is also a small freezer you probably can use. Also, for those who take medicine trough needles, it would be appreciated if we could know this in advance, so that no one should get suspicious. We think you will understand this, there is many young people attending, and they can make up their own reality if they see such things.
