    Microsoft har avslørt store nyheter om Xbox LIVE på Windows Phone 7 i dag:

     

    Avatars: Connect to your Xbox LIVE profile and Avatar, or create a new one if you don’t already have an Avatar or Xbox LIVE profile; take your 3-D Avatar and props with you on the phone with full closet access.

    Friends: Bring your Xbox LIVE friends with you everywhere; compare Achievements, challenge rivals to your favorite game, and even see who’s online and what they’re doing on their consoles, PCs or phones.

    Game access: Easily view and launch your full game library from a single location; find, try and buy new games either in the Marketplace or Games hub.

    Achievements: Earn, view and track Achievements, view Xbox LIVE leaderboards and build your Gamerscore across Xbox 360 and Windows Phone 7 — every time you play an Xbox LIVE title.

    Messaging: Communicate with all of your Xbox LIVE friends, any time you want, through Xbox LIVE messages.

    Multiplayer: Invite, connect and play against friends on other Windows Phone 7 phones or the PC with turn-based (asynchronous) multiplayer gaming.

    Spotlight: Access Xbox LIVE Spotlight feeds, including the latest game titles, breaking news from Xbox LIVE, game tips and tricks, and more.

    Mush – another extremely pretty Windows Phone 7 game in the works

     

    Mush is a new game in development by Angry Mango Games, featuring interesting and unique game play.

    The game revolves around a little character called Mush. He decides that his village is too mundane and goes off on an adventure into his world to discover the missing emotions.

    Using the Windows Phone 7 touch screen you draw a smile to make Mush happy, making him light and able to float upwards. Drawing a sad face saddens Mush and makes him sink in water and weigh down objects. Shaking the Phone angers Mush, allowing you to break obstacles and run faster.

    The game is obviously still incomplete, and will in the final version feature more challenging game play. That said the unique art style all by itself would make this a compelling buy at launch, if only to show of the graphical prowess of the OS.

    Ilomilo coming to Windows Phone 7?

     

    "Nothing has been officially announced yet but I noticed that Ilomilo was present in Microsoft’s Brad Brooks’ Xbox Live Hub on his Windows Phone 7 device (during his howcase demo at the Financial Analyst Meeting). I unfortunitely didn’t have time to snap a screenshot during the live webcast and it is not available on the company’s site (it has be recut and posted in several parts with stuff missing) so you will have to take my word on this one. Ilomilo is developed by SouthEndand and is Qualcomm’s showcase game for the new Adreno 205 GPU so this is kind of surprising given that everybody’s expecting the first WP7 devices to pack a “normal” Snapdragon SoC (with and Adreno200). The game is currently only announced for Xbox Live Arcade on the Xbox 360..."

    Hva er best, for oss som skal bruke to konsoller, med tanke på save games? Overføre save games fra konsoll 1 til USB-minne og alltid lagre til USB-minne?

    Trur det vil fungere bra. Eg brukar sjølv 2 boksar. Den gamle, samt Slim. For å unngå å måtte recover gamertag når eg byttar konsoll kjem eg til å lagre gamerprofil, samt savegames på ein liten USB stick. Å ta denne att og fram mellom konsollane er uproblematisk då eg stort sett kun brukar ein om gongen.

    Er det forresten noen som vet om man får kjøpt SanDisk 16GB Xbox 360 USB Flash Drive i Norge? :)

    Ser hvertfall ut som Kinect gjør det bra i preorders:

     

    Amazon UK has also started taking preorders on the device in the UK where it carries a suggested retail price of £130 and the Kinect has topped Amazon’s best selling PC & Video games (which includes both hardware and games) for the past 48 hours or so. Kinect first entered Amazon UK’s top 100 list on Monday while the Xbox 360 Slim 250GB is currently number 10 and has spent the past 38 days in Amazon’s top 100. The original Xbox Arcade is ranked 31st while worryingly for Nintendo, the Wii is currently 45th.

     

    Both the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle and the stand alone console have not proved to be stellar sellers which means that many gamers will prefer to get the Kinect as an add-on to their existing Xbox 360 gaming console or wait for a Xbox 360 Slim (250GB) Kinect package. The Kinect is also in the top 10 in the preorder chart at Play.com where the popular online retailer says it is due for release towards the end of November 2010.

    According to GFK Chart-Track, Microsoft's new Xbox 360 had the biggest launch ever for a revised home console in the UK, selling more than the PS2 redesign in 2004, PS3 redesign last year and sold around the same amount as the Xbox 360 originally sold at launch in the UK back in 2005 (around 70,000 units). This follows an extremely successful US launch last month where VGChartz estimates that over 250,000 units were sold in just two and a half weeks.

    Vil ikke si triggerene til 360 er så gode når det kommer til kvalitet. Dette har skjedd meg to ganger når jeg skaffer meg en ny 360 så får jeg en trigger som lager lyd hele tiden. Høyretriggeren lager en slags skrapelyd/pipelyd hvergang jeg skyter, forbaska irriterende. Det er sikkert springfjærene der inne som er alltid er fucka hver gang jeg har en ny 360 i hus. Kan ikke levere inn den heller for jeg tror ikke de selger den kontrolleren til vanlig

    Olje ftw. Jeg helte litt olivenolje nedi sprekkene ved triggerne, og skrape-/pipelydene forsvant :)
