  1. ser ut som det dukka opp en ny patch nå nettopp, fikser en del kjente bugs ^^

     

    versjon av russiske beta er nå 0.14.1b

     

    Detailed changelog

     

    + Missing descriptions added for British vehicles and soldiers

    + Some vehicle descriptions amended to include armour slope

    + Soldiers can now move from one fixed position within a building to another without the need to exit the building first

    + In various descriptions hyphenation was added to avoid text overflowing the allocated width (I guess this only goes for the Russian localization file)

    + Howitzers are spawned attached to respective tow tractors

    + SPG SU-122 added

    + An option is added to hide the interface by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift + D

    + The realistic fog of war mode is modified to make a unit visible to AI even if only a part of that unit is in line-of-sight

    + Tow tractors Universal Carrier, Steyr RSO, T-20 "Komsomolets" added (these are spawned with howitzers)

    + In the "attack" mode SMGs and MGs now fire in bursts

    + A delay is introduced for switching gears from forward drive into reversing

     

    * The unit description window should no longer block the unit purchase buttons from view

    * Less screen shaking from heavy HE rounds

    * The problem with some units' lack of invulnerability upon spawning is corrected

    * Missing left bottom corner figures added for various units

    * The Pz-IV ausf. H tank model got a longer barrel

    * Model corrections for Sherman M4A1, KingTiger, SU-100, QF 6-pdr, Pz-IV, Mk2a "Matilda", Mk7 "Priest", ISU-152

    * Firing Land Matress and Raketen Werfer can no longer be toggled into towed position or attached to vehicles

    * The bug with the aiming sight displayed as flat on the map surface is fixed.

    * Improved aiming for bazoookas at close range (and maybe for other nations' handheld AT: unclear from the text)

    * An unmanned (trophy) gun in tow no longers explodes on "friendly" mines

    * Gun barrel recoil animation brought back; aiming sight no longer jumps with every shot

    * Units can no longer be ordered to attack or aim at themselves.

    * Slight changes to the aiming sight cursor

    * The bug is fixed with men switching position to replace a dead crewman in motorcycles, tripod-mounted machine gun and some guns.

    * Buggy animation of men entering tanks/vehicles under enemy fire is fixed.

    * The bug with squad exit from a tank/APC is fixed. Units no longer rush toward the squad commander .

    * Moving tanks turn due to inertia when a track is shot (this behavior with a broken track was deactivated in patch 0.12 and reintroduced on 0.14)

    * It's no longer possible to repair fully destroyed tanks

    * AI now takes into account the dynamic aiming accuracy before opening fire from the main gun

    * Visualisation of tracer bullets fixed for small arms

    * Improved method of weapon selection by AI for tanks: long-range weapons (guns) are preselected. E.g., if within MG fire range, tank will use MG against enemy infantry; the gunner will load an HE round only if out of MG fire range. (this is a

     

    bit contradictory, but I suspect just bad wording for the first sentence)

    * Guns can now be rotated even if manned by one person

    * New feaure of automatically distributing barricades, barbed wire and sandbags from the fortification supplies truck among squad members

    * New unit-specific munition for Panzerwerfer 42

    * Missing sound effects fixed for various vehicles

    * Modified use of single and double-clicks for unit attack/movement

    Fixed. Det er stor forskjell på Preview og Review, Review er en annmeldelse av spillet, Preview er sniktitt. Just so you know ;)

  3. For å klarere ang direct control; Du går ikke inn i FPS modus. Du ser fortsatt fra fugleperspektiv men kan styre enhetene dine rundt med piltastene, sikte og skyte med musa etc. Dette er selvfølgelig mulig 24/7 ved enten å holde inne CTRL eller trykke END knappen.

     

    ok, da forstår jeg mer.

     

    Er dette noe mer enn en gimick; har det noe for seg strategisk?

     

    AI gjør også en bra jobb, men aldri bedre enn deg selv, du kan feks kaste granater å alt muligt ved å styre selv, gjør jobben mye lettere.

     

    ftp://ftp.ubi.com/emea/FOW/demo/Faces_Of_War_Demo.exe her har du link til faces of war 1, som men of war er oppfølger av(med sykt mye forbedringer), men forvent noen små bugs :p men alt er omtrent det samme control wise.
