HJELP, BF2 med Outpost Firewall

har akuratt installert outpost firewall, alt gikk bra og battlefield gikk også bra.

 

men i dag tidlig, så skjedde dette (se bilde)

 

det står at den er block'ed men jeg har allowed den.

 

den spørr om accsess til mange porter på mange ip adresser, når jeg slår av firewallen går alt bra igjen.

 

hjelp.

Du må trykke på "my internet" og i den boksen (firewall) oppe til høyre på skjermen, velger du så "application settings". Scroll ned til BF2.EXE, marker denne, og tykk på "process memory control", fjern krysset fra "block network access if application memory was modified by another process".

 

Trykk "ok" for å lukke boksen, trykk så "bruk" og "ok" i options boksen for å avslutte. Da funker alt som det skal igjen sjø..!

Fordi i går la du inn spillet tenker jeg, førstegang så går det greit, andre gang får du denne problemstilingen. Ikke bare du, har hatt akkurat det samme selv..

Ok, here is one solution:

-start bf2

-wait for the CC error to appear (should appear at bottom right of your screen, and may only flash up briefly)

-alt-tab out of bf2 (do NOT quit the game - use ctrl-alt-del->taskmanager if alt-tab doesnt work properly)

-go into outpost:

.......-> options -> application tab -> click on the 'Process Mem..' button

.......click the 'add' button -> select 'Browse' (at the bottom of the list)

.......navigate the 'open' dialogue box to your TEMP folder (generally it's c:\windows\temp but may differ on your system - to find out, open a DOS command prompt and type 'set'... and look for the line that says TEMP=.....)

....assuming you still have bf2 running (as instructed above) you should see a FILE called:

~e5.0001

double click on it

(disregard the folder that will appear with a similar name - you will see it first, but it's NOT what you want, you want the FILE, not the folder)

 

After you push OK on the 'Process Memory Control' dialoge box, and OK on the 'Options' dialogue box your changes will take effect - but the game will still be blocked, so....

 

alt-tab back into bf2 and then QUIT out of the game.

 

The next time you start bf2.exe it should work fine.

 

(in addition, you obviously ALSO need an appropriate ruleset, or to have BF2.exe 'trusted')

 

NOTE: if your ~e5.0001 file has a different number in it's name, it may be because bf2 has crashed during your current login, and has incremented the number of its security file... so either add this incremented file as well, or reboot to reset it to its default.

(this last bit is from memory, so don't quote me on that; i may just be confusing it with of CS:source)

 

 

Tatt fra Outpost support forum. Dette fungerer fint for meg, har BF2 på "Allow All The Activieties". De som vil ha litt mer kontroll kan lese mer HER.
